Pompey Dons March On With Emphatic 6–1 Victory

Portsmouth & Southsea FC delivered another statement performance as they brushed aside Sporting United 6–1 in a commanding display at the Ravelin Sports Centre.

The Pompey Dons raced into a 4–0 half-time lead, setting the tone in what proved to be a fiercely physical contest. Geraint Melville led the charge with a superb hat-trick, while Dennis Mason, Sean Ikenye and Liam Brewer each added to the tally to cap a clinical afternoon in front of goal.

Sporting United managed a consolation in the second half, but Portsmouth & Southsea remained firmly in control throughout. Both goalkeepers, James Heels and Albie Mullings, shared the game time as the squad once again demonstrated its depth and unity.

The result makes it four wins from four in Tier 3.1 South, extending an impressive winning streak for the Dons.

Next up, Portsmouth & Southsea host Greenwich on Sunday 1st March at the mighty Ravelin Sports Centre, with third place on the line.
