Pompey Dons Hit Nine as Cams Hill Return Marks Milestone Night

Portsmouth & Southsea Futsal Club continued their perfect start to the NFL Tier 3.1 Southern League with an impressive 9–6 home victory over Farnborough at Cams Hill. It was the club’s second league fixture of the season, but notably the first home match played in a PO postcode since October 2025, making it a landmark occasion both on and off the court.

The fixture also carried extra significance as it marked Head Coach Connor Maison’s 50th game in charge of the Pompey Dons. Maison continues to drive standards relentlessly, pushing the Men’s squad to their limits while also inspiring the next generation of youth players coming through the club and earning valuable opportunities at senior level.

Portsmouth & Southsea had already edged Farnborough 4–3 in the Tier 3 Southern Qualifiers earlier in the campaign, a result that helped secure the qualifiers league title. Once again, the hosts proved too strong. A fast-paced first half saw Pompey race into a 4–2 lead at the break, setting the tone for an open and attacking contest.

Dennis Mason led the scoring with four goals, while Liam Brewer added two. Further strikes from Geraint Melville, Kelvin Lipa and Jeffrey Pinzon completed the scoring in a confident team performance.

The win lifts Portsmouth & Southsea into third place in the seven-team league, with a game in hand. Attention now turns to Sunday 15th February, when we host London Galaxy at Ravelin Sports Centre. Kick-off is 2.25pm, with free entry for all.
