Plank Hits Four as Portsmouth & Southsea Cruise to 11-0 Pre-Season Victory

Portsmouth & Southsea Futsal continued their pre-season preparations in style with an emphatic 11-0 victory over Southampton University in a friendly that featured several new faces.

George Plank, Cristiano and Yaroslav Boichuk all made their debuts for Portsmouth & Southsea, while Josh Decaine marked his return to the squad. Plank produced a standout performance on his first appearance, scoring four times to lead the way in a dominant attacking display.

Justin Gudzelak added two goals, with Geraint Melville, Decaine, Yahya Karimi and Boichuk also getting themselves on the scoresheet. An own goal completed the scoring as Portsmouth & Southsea maintained control throughout the contest.

Just as pleasing as the goals was the clean sheet, with the side remaining organised and disciplined at the other end of the court to deny Southampton University any breakthrough.

It was a hugely positive pre-season outing, combining ruthless finishing, defensive solidity and promising debuts as Portsmouth & Southsea continue building momentum ahead of the new campaign.
