Portsmouth & Southsea Futsal Club delivered a dominant performance on Sunday, defeating Southampton Aztecs 21–5 in a thrilling Tier 3 South encounter. The home side flew out of the blocks and led 10–5 at half-time after a fast-paced and entertaining opening period.
In the second half, Portsmouth tightened defensively and showcased their attacking quality with wave after wave of clinical finishes. Liam Brewer led the scoring with four goals, while Aaron Tasker, Jeffrey Pinzon, and Kain B-Smith each bagged hat-tricks. Sean Ikenye, Dennis Mason, and Jack Heselwood added two apiece, with Paul Cotton and goalkeeper Fredrik Alfredsson also finding the net — the latter scoring a memorable long-range effort.
It was a complete team performance that highlighted Portsmouth’s strength, creativity, and finishing power as they continue to push for promotion in the National Futsal League Tier 3 South.
